Big Downs Big Ups
BIG DOWNS (I'm one to hear the bad news first)
This will be week 4 that my family has been sick. I don't think this is surprising news to anyone seeing as EVERYONE is sick right now. Runny/stuffy noses, sore throats, coughing, the works. I thought it might be a good idea to run Luca to the doctor just to make sure it wasn't anything more than a cough/cold. I was turned away after being in the doctors office not more than 3 minutes. The doctor said that Luca was fine and that I needed to leave his office immediately before he catches something else from his other patients. I ran, very very fast. Apparently, even though it has been a warm winter, he has never seen this many sick patients in his life. Yikes.
This was poor Luca at the very beginning of his sickness. 1:30am and feverish. I just had to take a picture of this sad scene because Taylor conveniently left to San Fran for a business trip and I wanted him to know what he was missing out on ;)
Bad mom story: I turned on the water to give Ollie a bath and I either forgot to turn the cold water on or I didn't turn it on very high. Poor thing burnt his buns!!!
BIG UPS
My kids are developing by leaps and bounds! Luca is looking older by the second and can finally roll over. Ollie is speaking full on sentences and it kind of freaks me out. We've transitioned him to a big boy bead so Luca can take over the crib, and we are also working on potty training. For Valentine's Day my mom bought Ollie some Thomas the Tank Engine underwear, he loves to look at them, but attempt to put those things on and you are in for the temper tantrum of the century.
My sister in law and I bought annual passes to the aquarium and these two are just the cutest. Glad I captured this moment before she punched him in the face.
