Left A Lone Woman
I was left a lone woman this week while Taylor ventured out east for business in Boston.
What do you do when your husband leaves town? Eat scrambled eggs in bed, DUH!
Play in the flower bed with your pajamas on
Go to the park by yourself and ride down the slide 36 times
Go bra shopping
Get a girlfriend

Maya
Poor Maya was taking her finals during her birthday in April so there was no birthday fun for her that week. A celebration was necessary.
Maya is leaving on her mission to Japan in July and so my Mom and I wanted to do something special for her since she will be eating rice and riding a bike for 547 days straight.
We had a 3 day celebration and it was awesome.
We kicked off the party by going to the nail salon. I somehow managed to get the manicure from hell. The nail lady decided to trim not just the dead skin around my nails, but all of my skin. I looked down at my hands and blood was dripping from all of my fingers. The only words nail lady could splutter was "you have thin skin!!" She couldn't stop the bleeding so she took her spray bottle of alcohol and proceeded to squirt my bloody little fingers. Oh my freaking heck what was she thinking. It hurt so bad, but hey, the bleeding stopped. I went with a shade of pink that was about four shades brighter than I thought it would be. Barbie and I should be best friends.
The Living Planet Aquarium was such a fun place for the kiddos, definitely taking Ollie back.
We hiked Ensign Peak which has a view of the entire Salt Lake Valley, so glad Mari was able to come from San Francisco
Ollie's first time trying sushi, he may love it just as much as his mama

#2
Taylor and I are pleased to announce that I'm expecting baby BOY #2 coming this September!
With our first, we just wanted to know right then and there if we were having a boy or girl. This time around I wanted to up the level of excitement and be surprised along with my family instead of being the ones surprising them. And we got a delicious cake out of it.
PS-We had Granite Bakery make our cake for us and that place is just ridiculously good. My mom and I may or may not secretly drive over there from time to time to bring home a gooey batch of cinnamon knots.
